Each year, the Arizona Tattoo Expo packs more and more stuff into one jam-packed weekend. And each year, more and more people pour out to see the expo's collection of world-famous artists and piercers and admire their work.

Last year, more than 18,000 people showed up.

This year's expo includes seminars and live work being done by Aaron Bell, Bob Tyrell, Jack Rudy, Rick Walters, Steve Haworth, Sage O' Connell, Sean Dowdell, Matt Geiogamah, Paolo Acuna and others.

In addition to live tattoo work, the schedule includes live bands, shops, food and drinks and seminars on the art form and the industry.

And then there's the people watching (and meeting). If you're into tats and piercings, it's difficult to find a better collection of living exquisite and unique works.

8th Annual Arizona Tattoo Expo, Mesa Centennial Hall, 201 N. Center Street, Mesa, www.aztattooexpo.com, Friday, April 4, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., $20 for single day, $45 for weekend pass
