Top Ten Philanderers

On this date in 1533, Henry VIII’s marriage to Catherine of Aragon was nullified, allowing Henry to marry his long-time lust Anne Boleyn, who was his second of six wives and eventually executed. What a jerk!
In remembrance of Henry’s womanizing ways, here are the Top 10 Philanderers of All Time.
10. Don Juan
Okay, okay, he doesn’t actually exist. But we’ve all heard of him and he plays an important symbolic role in modern psyche.
9. Eliot Spitzer
Politicians are always good sources for philandering. We all remember the former Governor of New York’s run-in with the law and a certain high-end prostitute named Ashley Alexandra Dupre in March.
8. Pablo Picasso
Maybe all his womanizing was a good thing. Seven of his known mistresses played important roles in the creation of his art.
7. Price Charles
Rumors circulated that he was cheating on Princess Diana with Camilla Parker Bowles, who is now his wife, but considerably less liked than Diana.
6. The Rat Pack
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop make up the famed ’50s group. Yeah, Sinatra and Martin alone probably bagged more chicks than I’ve met in my whole life.
5. Bill Clinton
Sure, he cheated on his wife – reportedly a bunch of times – but he’s so damn suave and charismatic that it’s hard to care. Kudos, Bill. We don’t know how you do it, but it’s confusingly awesome.
4. Giacomo Casanova
How can he not be on the list? After all, “casanova” is a synonym of womanizer. The famed 18th century socialite basically created the art of seduction as well as role playing in the bedroom; his encounters often involved elaborate costumes and complicated stories.
3. Eddie Murphy
In 2007, the women of Britain that were polled for a research company called Onepoll named Eddie Murphy the most hated philanderer of all time. He dumped Melanie Brown during a TV interview and then denied that he was the father of her daughter. The Brits obviously don’t like it when someone fucks with the Spice Girls.
2. John F. Kennedy
Rumors abound about JFK’s infidelity – from a sordid, emotional affair with Marilyn Monroe to reports of having a young woman on staff for sexual favors. He was certainly a ladies’ man.
1. Wilt Chamberlain
20,000 women. Enough said.
