Top Ten Mythical Creatures

Hearing the news that there was a freaky one-horned deer (which basically is a unicorn!), spotted in Italy, made me think of other sweet mythical creatures that I really hope exist.
In researching this topic, I discovered there are way more cool mythical creatures than I thought. Here are the top 10:
Adlet
These are from the lore of the Inuit people near Hudson Bay and get this: they are part dog, part human and drink your blood!
Balaur
A multi-headed dragon from Romanian folklore. I mean dragons are cool, but a dragon with a bunch of heads is even cooler.
Clurichaun
From Irish legend, these are even scarier versions of a leprechaun; they’re permanently drunk and pissed off. How cute! (Oh man, now one of these is totally going to suffocate me in my sleep.)
Konaki-Jijii
Just because this is amazingly tricky, even for a demon: this ghostly creature disguises itself as a crying infant in the woods and when someone picks it up, it gets heavier and heavier until it crushes the do-gooder.
Žiburinis
A ghost from Lithuanian lore that appears in graveyards as a phosphorescent skeleton. Just think how much fun a walking, talking glow-in-the-dark skeleton could be.
Jerff
How can you not love a creature made from a jumble of different animals and whose whole purpose is to eat until it can’t eat anymore and then, just so it could eat more, squeeze itself between two trees (like this) to make the food pass through it faster?
Akaname
How cool would this be to have around? Despite being horrifying sounding (a beast with a frog-like appearance, long tongue, wild hair and a one-clawed foot), it’s actually really friendly and licks your bathroom clean while you’re sleeping.
Gold-Digging Ant
Pretty self-explanatory, except the ants are dog-sized! Just imagine the treasure it could dig up for you.
Bonnacon
This mythical Asian animal is like a backwards dragon; instead of breathing fire, it poops fire!
Encantado
a.k.a. fun junkie of the mythical creature world. I’d hang out with these Brazilian dolphin-human shapeshifters: they’re known for being awesome musicians, loving sex and being attracted to parties.
