Sometimes I really wonder about the types of foods different countries term as a "delicacy." I mean is it really a cultural thing or do they just not have anything better to eat?

10.) Chicken Feet - Start by biting off the toes and then spit out the bones.

9.) Asparagus Juice - Now, I do enjoy asparagus every now and then for a part of my meal, but I don't think I'm ready to buy a jug of asparagus juice to replace my morning cup of O.J.

8.) Pickled Snake Head Fish - A product of Asia, this delicacy is canned and ready to go!

7.) Hakarl - An Icelandic dish made by gutting a Greenland or Basking shark and then fermenting it for two to four months.

6.) Casu Marzu - An Italian cheese made with insect larvae.

5.) Chocolate Covered Scorpions - A sweet and crunchy appetizer popular in London.

4.) Mexican Worm Tacos - Supposedly the worms are delicious when deep fried and served in a tortilla.

3.) Fried Brain Sandwiches - Sad to say, this is actually an American dish that is still available on some menus in the Ohio River Valley.

2.) Haggis - A traditional Scottish dish made with minced heart, liver and lung of a sheep mixed with onions, spices, oatmeal, salt and stock, then boiled in the sheep's stomach.

1.) Live Fish - I'm not the type of person who wants to struggle with her food, but apparently the Chinese don't mind!
