Give Kathy Griffin a chance

A little elementary school torment really did them some good.
Conan O'Brien and Louis C.K. are awesome and all - seriously, they're some of my favorite comedians - but there's a little redhead I think the comedy world and the public in general has been ignoring. I'm talking about Kathy Griffin.
Yes, this Kathy Griffin.
To my Christian friends - be nice. I know she isn't nice, but she's just doing her job. Plus, it's a little funny.
Anyway, as I sit here watching her host Bravo's A-List awards, I can't believe she isn't as famous as Jerry Seinfeld or Jim Carrey. Oh, be quiet. Just hear me out.
When I first saw her, I wasn't a fan. I think it's the voice and the hair. The two combined make for a somewhat annoying blend. But she's actually really, really, really, really funny. If you don't mind being a little offended.
And really, what's good comedy if not offensive?
Seinfeld has said that she's one of the greatest comedic geniuses of our time. She doesn't write stand-up material. She writes down topics, usually celebrities, she knows she wants to cover in her show and makes up her jokes off-the-cuff.
That's talent.
What I'm asking is that you (yes, you) give Kathy Griffin a chance. She's awesome and cool and really funny.
So watch her reality show, watch her stand up, listen to her shenanigans and throw up a little support for one of the only female comedians I can tolerate.
Please?
Spring Break

Very good read! I discovered Kathy Griffin's comedy about a year, two years ago and I have watched every one of her specials and her shows since. She is hilarious. (Continued…)

I used to be a HUGE fan of this woman. Then I met the rude bitch face-to-face. What a disappointment! I'm not supporting her ever again.

salvation for all huh? You mean the 1 billion Christians? But not the 1.2 billion Hindus? Or the 1.4 billion Muslims? Or the 50 million Jews? Or the 900 million non-believers? Or the estimated 1000 million Santarians? Or the 1 billion others who believe? in alternative religions? Hmmm? Salvation for the very select few is what you meant. (Continued…)

She is absolutely one of the worst comedians of all time. She's miles past annoying and I find it very hard to locate anyone who finds her the least bit entertaining or funny. (Continued…)
The jokes on "Joke"

And yet, Joke, you spent 20 minutes writing a missive on it.
Why?
If this article is the complete opposite of something someone would want to read, than why write a response?
By your own logic, nobody will see it. (Continued…)

"Sounds like somebody isn't think straight"? Haha, even when you're writing a response, the intelligence level is severely lacking which gives even more backing on the fact that this article is thoughtless. (Continued…)
