How far would you go?

Okay, so not the first thing that would come to mind if I wanted to anger my parents, but I guess they do things a little differently in Egypt. Or, maybe this guy just has some underlying issues going on, because as far as I'm concerned, you don't just cut off your penis no matter how much you love someone or no matter how mad you are at your parents. And really, if he had thought this through, he might have realized that cutting off his penis is not going to better the situation - even if he does get the girl in the end. Think about it.
So I guess love makes you do crazy things.
I mean we've seen it all before, maybe not to this extent, but it happens. Of course there is the typical tattooing of a lover's name on your body, which seems to inevitably end in disaster. So let me clear this up for some people - tattoos are permanent and they don't come off in the shower. But I suppose you can always try to contort the words into something else after the break-up. Just follow the lead of Johnny Depp who tattooed "Winona Forever" on his right arm, and then changed it to "Wino Forever" after he broke up with Winona Ryder.
And then there is Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, who wore vials of each other's blood around their necks. Oh and remember when Britney Spears randomly decided to marry her friend Jason Alexander? Yes, we all know how that turned out.
So, let's learn from others' stupidity, and the next time you think you are "crazy in love," try thinking twice before doing anything too extreme.
