There’s a slew of Chronic Tacos dotted all over California, but in Arizona, there are only two. And in the Valley, there’s only one. Don’t let that confuse you; that doesn’t mean Chronic Tacos isn’t awesome, because quite the opposite is true.


With a menu of Fatty Tacos, monster burritos, tamales, tortas and even breakfast, it’s hard to go wrong at this small, laid-back Mexican restaurant and bar with patio seating.

There aren’t any servers at this bar, so if you want food, you have to order it at the counter and if you want drinks, you have to order them directly from the bartender.

Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. and offers $1 Landsharks, $2 Jager bombs, $3 Rockstar vodkas, $4 Long Island Iced Teas and $5 Cabo Wabos and Cuervo Del Sol shots.

Every Sunday is Sixth Street Sundayz with $3 for most drafts, $3 24-ounce Bud Lights, $3.50 margaritas and $10 Mexican Buckets.

Starting on June 4, they will have Rocked Thursdays with $1 domestic drafts from 9 p.m. to

11 p.m. and $3 Jager Bombs and Cuervo shots the whole night. From midnight to close, they will have $1 tacos. All of this surrounded by the beats of DJ Soulman from the Phunk Junkeez.

Chronic Tacos is perfect for anyone looking to get away, but still be close to everything.
