Step right up to see the world's greatest ventriloquist, people. Be amazed as he throws his voice to make his puppets talk. He even goes as far as to have full-blown conversations with himself … we mean his puppets.

But, seriously, for reals, this guy's been noted as America's Favorite Comedian by Slate.com, and for good reason.

Not only does he have mad skills on the stage performing, but his characters are pretty freakin' great.

One such character is Walter, a grumpy old retired Vietnam Vet who "doesn't give a damn" about anything or anyone. This is one of the only puppets Dunham actually physically created all by himself.

Peanut and José the Jalapeño are two of Dunham's other characters who usually appear together, and when they do, they're a dynamic duo. Peanut is something called a "woozle" who Dunham denotes as "the bad kid." He makes fun of Dunham a lot, along with tormenting José. Trust us, when you hear Dunham's Hispanic accent, you will be blown away. Even with his mouth almost completely shut - as it is the essence of a ventriloquist, to pretend as if the puppets are doing the talking and not you for them - his accent is strikingly stereotypical, but still amazing.

And, if we didn't at least mention Ahmed the Dead Terrorist, it wouldn't be fair to him. Known for randomly yelling "Silence! I kill you!" he's angry, cold and often woeful about the fact that his butt says 'Made in China'. Don't say we didn't warn you you about him.

Ventriloquism is back, baby, and we have Dunham to thank.
